Responsibilities
Development of state-wide outreach education programs
in conjunction with the Ohio Pork Industry Center and The Ohio State
University Swine Educators Team. Maintain communication with allied
industry and pork producer groups within the state to provide guidance
and direction for program development. Undergraduate teaching responsibilities
within the Animal Sciences Department include Swine Production and Principles
of Genetic Improvement. Research conducted in the area of genetic improvement
for economically important production and muscle quality traits in swine.
